Tokina 135mm excellent performer
I wish this lens was available in a AF version. It is small, light, unobtrusive, robustly build and has good sharpness even wide open and even in the extreme corners. More so, sharpness also remains intact at longer focus distances such as 30m.
Also the usual contrast loss on DSLR's as seen with so many vintage lenses is absent. Just some CA in some instances @f2.8, mostly gone @F4. Bokeh is quite nice.
Vignetting? I am sure there is some, but I haven't noticed it in any way at any aperture and I am not going to look for it. Distorsion? I did look for that but could not find any! Just got the new and excellent Tokina SD 16-28 F2.8 IF FX in yesterday. And now this one: Tokina knows how to build lenses if you ask me...
